Up we go
Christian figured out how to climb up the stairs, and when given enough motivation (ie. his favorite toy or my iPhone), he can conquer the entire flight!

Jason and I left Christian in Hong Kong with Grandma and flew off to Tokyo for a few days. It was our first after-baby vacation without the baby, it was great to fly without having to worry about poopy diapers. Grandma was sick with the flu the week before we left, so the Tokyo-trip was [...]
Christian’s first international plane ride went better than what we expected. Prior to the flight, Jason and I were nervous/petrified/mortified, we didn’t know if we could handle a teething baby on a 13-hr flight. We were prepared to drug him with baby Gravol (or rum or tequila, or whatever works…) but Christian slept most of [...]
Last night, Jason and I put Christian in his walker, as usual, thinking that he’s just sit there and play. Boy were we wrong! Up until yesterday, he only knew how to go backwards in his walker. But somehow, last night, he figured out how to go forward…and he’s been unstoppable since, though he walks [...]
And update on the feeding situation: Because we don’t want to make eating/feeding a negative experience for Christian, we’ve decided not to “force” him to finish his milk and will give him as much solids as we think he needs (6 tbsp max per meal at this time). Surely, meal-times is once again a happy [...]
to force-feed Christian. He’s not taking in enough and I am seriously getting worried. I’ve been reading articles online and talking to the nurses at the health clinic and I’m getting mixed information.
Here’s his usual daily intake:
7:30/8:00 – 5 oz formula
9:30/10:00 – breakfast (1 tbsp rice cereal, 1 oz formula and fruit, for a total [...]
Christian’s hair was getting a bit too long, it was almost poking into his eyes so Jason and I decided to give him a haircut ourselves. Jason did the cut and I just hid behind the door to secretly film him. The haircut went well, according to Jason, my cutie-pie is still very cute, but [...]
oh and by the way, Tooth #3 has broken out from the gums, Tooth #4 is slowly getting there…
Mom and I took Christian to KidsPhoto at Oakridge Centre last week for a photo session. I love that place, the photographer was great, the gentleman who helped us choose the photos was nice…
*as per Jason’s request, all photos of topless-Christian have been removed.
Chouchou made his first “laugh out REALLY loud ” the other night while playing with Jason. Apparently Jason was juggling with his toys. He had already gotten too tired laughing by the time I found the camera so that moment is now lost in time. However, he did another similar laugh today while watching Jason [...]
