The Worst Yet…Maybe I Really Should Just Go To Work

I woke up this morning and had a drink of water – BIG MISTAKE! I am not sure what it is about water, but it seems that every time I drink, it comes right back up then triggers a whole series of tummy ache/fatigue/headache, etc. So, I worked from home today (thank goodness for really understanding boss).

Working from home is awesome until I realized the pantry and fridge are just so close by. I was literally eating non-stop the whole morning – something that I found to temporary distracts me from horrible morning sickness. But then, after all the food in my tummy, I was feeling sick again. People say morning sickness and other pregmonsters peak at 11-13 weeks. I am only at 6 weeks, I am so NOT looking forward to more “feeling sick”, especially when week 12 and 13 is right smack in the middle of Christmas and New Years!

So, lesson learned today:

  1. Stay away from water in the morning, and if I really have to drink, use a straw (I found that out during lunch).
  2. Suck it up and go to work, because that’ll restrict the amount of food accessible, thus minimizing bigger tummy aches and headaches.
  3. FRESH AIR!
