Lines on a Stick
Jason wanted me to take the test, but still a bit discouraged from last month’s ordeal (3 weeks late but 5 negative sticks), I didn’t really want to do any tests. To me, not finding out means I still have a chance to hope…in case it’s negative again.
But Jason insisted, so we got a store-brand home pregnancy test from the drug store and I woke up at 6:45am this morning to “pee on the stick”.
I found a clean container to pee in, dipped the stick in it for 20 seconds as per instructions on the box and within a minute a “+” appeared in the window. The first thing I did – woke up Jason to show him the stick.
We were both shocked, in a good way. But just to make sure the test isn’t faulty, we decided to do another test, so a couple hours later, I dipped the stick in the little container again…and another “+”.
So, I guess we can safely say that I’m pregnant.
